The third and final season of Ultraman is topping the Netflix schedule for May 8-14, 2023.

On Thursday, May 11, the streaming service will add Ultraman Season 3 to its available content. Based on the works of Tsuburaya Productions, Eiichi Shimizu, and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, the popular anime was first released on Netflix in 2019. The freshman season features 13 episodes, while the sophomore has just six installments. The streamer has also greenlit a feature film, which is still in production.

“Shinjiro (Ultraman) who saw a nightmare begins to realize he can no longer keep his abilities under control and struggles to contain them. His power is unleashed beyond his control, the city is destroyed, and people are hurt,” reads the synopsis. “Society begins to call Ultraman a “disaster of mankind” and the hero becomes a target for condemnation. Shinjiro, alone and having lost everything, finds himself in the middle of a maelstrom of fate! In the shadows of the confusion, an ominous alien force moves in secret!”
